JAVA ERROR FIX

The Following is the configuration that should be set within your Internet Explorer Privacy Settings (this is the location where you accept or deline internet cookies).


After going to the Properties of Internet Explorer, go to the "Privacy" Tab. Make sure that your setting are set to "Medium" .

Under the "Advanced" button on the Privacy Tab, make sure that "Override automatic cookie handling" is not checked off. Also that you can see that "First Party" and "Third Party" Cookies the "Accept" is checked off.

If you have a Pop-Up Blocker installed and is running, make sure the following links are added to your "Allowed Sites"

*.rhsmith.umd.edu
*.umd.edu

This will allow pop-ups that are generated and needed by the url's of the site.

Once this has been done "Close" and "Apply" all windows and restart your Browser Windows. These are the settings needed to access all fields of the Smith eAlumni Network.
